WeSay is a platform to help you understand the perception of you in society. Your social perception plays a significant role in what opportunities come your way in life. Mostly our understanding of our social perception is just a hypothesis. Use WeSay to become more self-aware to drive self-improvement socially and professionally

Sign up on the app and create your page. Then add your friends on the app and let them tell you what they think about you publicly or anonymously using Traits, Badges and Reviews. The more friends you add, the richer social perception will be

Traits are human qualities or characteristics that describe a person eg. Friendly, Intelligent, Good-looking, Smart etc. are traits that can be given to a user in the app. Once a trait is given to a user, friends of that user can agree or disagree with that trait or add new traits on their own. The app has over 500 traits to choose from

Badges are special mentions to given to special friends. Badges are of two types – Special Badges and Fun Badges.. Examples of special badges are – I Respect You, I Admire You, My BFF etc. Fun Badges are used to poke fun at your friends. Examples of fun badges are Couch Potato, Mr / Ms Know It All, Overconfident etc. You earn badges as you add more friends in the app.

WeSay is intended to be a platform to help you understand your social perception. Take feedback with an open mind and do not be sidetracked by loose comments made by the odd user, if any. All feedback is only from people you add as friends so you can control who you get feedback from. Also if multiple people vouch for something that you perceive as negative maybe it’s something you can think about and see if it is really an area of improvement. Remember at the end of the day, it’s the perception people have of you and not necessarily who you really are.

Use WeSay as a tool to also carry your reputation with you. For example if 30 of your friends say you are ‘Trustworthy’ and ‘Friendly’, use that as an advantage to showcase it to people who don’t know you or who are meeting you for the first time. It will help someone who doesn’t know you know what to expect when they are meeting you. There will be more and more features added to this platform as it grows.
